How the Vii app and this website handle your information.

This policy covers the Vii app and cocorefactors.com, both run by CoCo Refactoring Agency LLC, 840 Lawrence St, Eugene, Oregon 97401. Last updated November 6, 2026.

What Vii collects

Account details. Your name and email address when you have a Vii account.

What you make in a quest. The answers and other responses a task asks for, which can include typed text, photos and spoken answers, along with your progress and scores.

Camera, microphone and motion. Vii uses these only while a task needs them: scanning a QR code, a photo or AR task, a speaking task, or 360° media. The app asks your permission first, and you can switch any of them off in your device's Settings.

Server logs. Our servers keep standard records of requests, such as IP address and time, for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

We show no ads. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use it

We use your information to run quests, save your progress, show results to you and to the person who runs your group, and to fix and improve Vii.

Classes and organizations

When a school or organization runs Vii with a class or group, for example through a learning system such as Canvas, your results for that activity go to that institution and your instructor or facilitator. The institution's own policies also apply to what it does with them.

Who else handles it

Companies that host and run Vii's servers and databases process information for us, only to provide the service. We disclose information when the law requires it. Our servers are in the United States, so your information is processed there.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your information while your account is active. To delete your account and the information attached to it, email agency@cocorefactors.com from the address on the account.

Children

Vii is meant for people 13 and older. If we learn we've collected personal information from a child under 13 without a parent's or school's consent, we delete it.

Security

Information travels between the app and our servers over encrypted connections, and access to our systems is limited to the people who run them.

This website

cocorefactors.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when they load. In the site's hidden video mode, the camera feed stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
